Didactic Briefcases as a Means to Foster Colombian Culture in the EFL Classroom

The purpose of this paper is to show the importance implementing didactic briefcases (maletas didácticas) from El Museo del Oro in EFL classroom as a means foster culture through use theme-based approach. To end, bibliographical review was carried out by searching different research articles master and BA theses order know about implementation Colombia. Thus, information presented help teachers realize how beneficial it could be integrate Theme-Based Instruction (TBI) their lessons make them more didactic, flexible, engaging, collaborative, dynamic while integrating curriculum. In fact, some studies showed that have been used areas Colombian education, such Arts Social Science, but not English. Finally, results possible implement approach because allows students open minds own roots become critical when interacting with people cultural backgrounds.
